Images from Science 2

The internationally recognized RIT School of Photographic Arts and Sciences presents the catalogue for Images from Science 2 — a 2008 show that features exciting contemporary photography from the fields of astronomy, physics, engineering, medicine, and microbiology. Photographers from around the world submitted 300 scientific images that were judged for exhibition inclusion by a panel of photographic experts from esteemed institutions such as Smithsonian, Fotomundo, Sky & Telescope, Adobe Systems, Inc., and the Karolinksa Institutet in Sweden.

The book’s large full-color reproductions and detailed captions are essential records of the event and will be certain inspirations in the classroom, or simply for the inquisitive mind. Includes an introduction by Martin L. Scott, former Director of Scientific Imaging for Eastman Kodak Company.
